Riyadh, March 22nd - The Ambassador of Cuba, Vladimir González Quesada, met the new Undersecretary for Political and Economic Affairs in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, Dr. Saud Bin Mohammad Al-Sati, who assumed this high responsibility recently.
The director of the Department for Latin America and the Caribbean, Ambassador Faisal Muslat Ghasab Al-Mandeel, and the specialist of Cuba in this department also participated in the meeting.
During the interview, the Ambassador conveyed to Dr. Al-Sati greetings and congratulations on his appointment on behalf of the Cuban Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anayansi Rodríguez Camejo, which were reciprocated and thanked by the Undersecretary.
Likewise, the bilateral relations between the Island and the Kingdom were reviewed, ratifying their good state and the possibilities to expand and strengthen them in the different spheres of mutual interest.
Before assuming his current position, Dr. Al-Sati served as Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to India. (EmbaCuba Arabia Saudita)
