Ambassador of Cuba in Mongolia, Jorge Ferrer, attended the closing ceremony of the 2022 school year and graduation of students at School #52, José Martí, in Ulan Bator.

The activity was chaired by the Principal of the center, Mrs. Tserenkhand Lumben and the Cuban diplomat.

The Cuban ambassador, when speaking, congratulated those who graduated, the teachers and the rest of the students for the successful completion of the course and wished them success in the future and happy holidays.

He thanked the students and professors for their studies on Martí and for their active participation in the activities to honor the National Hero of Cuba on the occasion of the anniversaries of his birth and his fall in combat.

He announced the granting by Cuba of a scholarship to study medicine at a Cuban university for one of the best graduate students of the School, who is willing to serve his country.

He stressed that the scholarship is a contribution from Cuba to the development of Mongolia and an exceptional opportunity to study for free in one of the best medical schools in the world. He recalled that the island that has health indicators only comparable to developed countries.

He explained the public, free and preventive nature of the Cuban health system, as well as the qualities of humanism, sensitivity, sacrifice and solidarity that aspiring doctors require.

The Principal of the School thanked the opportunity that Cuba offers every year for a graduate of the center to become a professional in its Universities.
