Ottawa, March 12, 2024- The Ambassador-designate of Cuba to Canada, Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz presented this Tuesday the Copies of his Credentials to the Director of Protocol of the Canadian Department of Foreign Affairs, Sébastien Carrière.
In a cordial welcome at the headquarters of the Canadian Foreign Ministry, the representative of the Canadian government welcomed Ambassador Rodrigo Malmierca, wishing him every success in his mission.
During the meeting, the will to continue strengthening bilateral relations and to strengthen ties in cooperation and trade, which date back almost eight decades, was ratified. Likewise, the importance of tourism was reaffirmed, as the northern country is the main source of tourists to our Island.
