Ambassador paid a Courtesy Call to Honorable Bharrat Jagdeo, Secretary General of the People's Progressive Party (PPP)

Georgetown, May 2, 2018. The Secretary General of the People's Progressive Party and member of the Parliament of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana received Ambassador Narciso Reinaldo Amador Socorro.

During the visit, which took place in a cordial atmosphere, the Secretary General of the PPP and the Ambassador highlighted the historical relations of friendship between Guyana and Cuba and confirmed their willingness to continue working towards its strengthening and expansion.  The Cuban diplomat thanked Hon. Bharrat Jagdeo for the PPP's position of solidarity towards Cuba over the years.
