Ambassador receives Dr. William Adu-Krow, Representative of PAHO / WHO in Guyana.

 

Georgetown, February 19, 2018. Ambassador Narciso Reinaldo Amador Socorro, received Dr. William Adu-Krow, representative of the Pan American Health Organization and the World Health Organization in the Cooperative Republic of Guyana.

The objective of the meeting was to coordinate actions between the PAHO / WHO Office in Georgetown and the Ministry of Public Health of Cuba.

During the meeting, Dr. William Adu-Krow praised the medical cooperation that Cuba provides to Guyana, which began more than 42 years ago. For his part, the Cuban diplomat thanked Dr. Adu-Krow for his words and expressed the willingness of the Government of Cuba to support the work of the PAHO / WHO office in Georgetown and to continue offering cooperation to the Cooperative Republic of Guyana in the provision of medical health services and the training of qualified personnel in the different medical specialties.
