Kuwait, December 10: Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Cuba, Alain Pérez Torres, was received by Minister Plenipotentiary Abdulaziz S. Al-Jarallah, Assistant Foreign Minister for International Organization at the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry.
During the meeting, the Cuban Ambassador thanked Kuwait for its historic support to the Cuban resolution against the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States. He also emphasized the negative impact of this policy, which has intensified in recent years, on the Cuban people. For his part, the Kuwaiti diplomat assured that Cuba would continue to count on the support of his country.
Both parties ratified their willingness to continue collaborating on multilateral issues of common interest.
