Roberto Morales Ojeda, member of the BP of the CC of the PCC and Secretary of Organization.
Chitmany was received by the President of the Republic of Cuba Miguel Diaz Canel, with whom he agreed in expressing satisfaction with the excellent state of party relations and in identifying new ways to deepen it. He also held a cordial meeting with Cuban Vice President Salvador Valdes Mesa.
During the stay of the visitor from the brother people of Laos, the II theoretical seminar was held between both organizations, whose Cuban counterpart, Morales Ojeda, assured that the visit ratified the excellent state of political relations between both nations and the will to continue strengthening the work. of the Party.
“It is a pleasure to receive him at the headquarters of the Central Committee of the Party and we hope that, in this his third visit to Cuba, he feels at home,” said Morajes Ojeda.
During the exchange, the meeting held between the leaders last year was remembered with special pleasure, in which Morales Ojeda conveyed a cordial invitation to his counterpart to visit the Greater Antilles. On that occasion, experiences in the construction of socialism in Cuba and Laos were also exchanged and the First Theoretical Seminar was held between both political organizations.
A similar exchange to continue delving into the work of the Party in the current context and at a global level, was carried out in Cuba, which on this occasion was the headquarters of the II Theoretical Seminar.
The visit of Cro. Chitmany takes place in an important year when both countries celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
