Caravans against the blockade take place in Canada.

Ottawa, February 28, 2021 - This Sunday, February 28, caravans against the U.S. blockade and in favor of the Cuban family took place in Ottawa and Montreal, organized by Cubans residents in Canada.

The event organized by the association of Cubans residents in the Canadian capital was joined by members of the solidarity group Ottawa Cuba Connections, members of the communist parties of Canada, and friends who support the struggle against the genocidal U.S. blockade.

The caravan against the blockade that took place in Montreal was organized by the Association of Cubans Resident in that city "Cuban Community in Canada" and was joined by members of the solidarity organization " Quebec-Cuba Solidarity Roundtable". Several participants of the event made statements in favor of the normalization of relations between Cuba and the United States.

During the caravans in Ottawa and Montreal, participants expressed their rejection of the inhumane U.S. blockade and denounced its tightening in times of pandemic. These caravans were carried out as part of the Bridges of Love initiative of Professor Carlos Lazo who resides in the United States.
