At the event, the new members of the Cuban consulate were introduced and the General Consul, Jorge Yanier Castellanos, conveyed a message of recognition to these organizations for their continued solidarity with the Cuban people, especially in the sending to our country of important donations of medical supplies to fight COVID-19, their actions in support of the Cuban people, against foreign interference and to demand an end to the inhumane blockade imposed by the U.S. against the island.
At the end of the event, the Cuban artist José Carret made a performance allegorical to the dates. The event concluded with good Cuban music by Cándido Fabre.
