Celebrated webminar in Trinidad and Tobago to promote service sector from Cuba.

Port Spain, May 3rd, 2023. The Trinidad and Tobago Coalition of Services Industries (TTCSI) and the Cuban Embassy in that country, in coordination with the Cuban Chamber of Commerce and the Trinidad and Tobago Trade Facilitation Office in Havana, held a webinar on the service sector in the Cuban economy entitled "Doing business with Cuba".

The president of the TTCSI, Mark Endhill, expressed the interest that the members of this Coalition arouse in the approach to the Cuban market and highlighted the presence of Cuba in the health services sector in the country. The Ambassador of Cuba, Tania Diego Olite, thanked the TTCSI for the possibility of organizing this event that contributes to better knowledge between the service companies of both countries and to generate new exchange possibilities between them.

The Trade and Investment Promotion Agency in Cuba, PROCUBA, made a presentation of the service sector in Cuba. The event was a propitious framework for the specific presentation of construction and infrastructure services. The vice minister of the Ministry of Construction of Cuba,  Manuel Carbajo made a general introduction to this sector that was complemented with specific interventions from two of the most prominent Cuban companies in the ram, UNECA and Cubahidráulica.

Nearly 30 Trinidadian companies participated in the webinar, generating direct contact interests between them and potential Cuban counterparts. The event will have two other editions within the framework of the series "Doing bussiness with the world" organized by the TTCSI between the months of May to September 2023.
