Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month in Quebec.

The Consul General of Cuba in Montreal, Susana Malmierca Benítez, along with other members of the diplomatic corps, participated in a cultural activity in the city of Boucherville, in celebration of Hispanic and Latin American heritage in Quebec, Canada.

In coordination with the Hispanic and Latin American Association of Boucherville, the event helped to promote the culture, tradition, gastronomy and tourism of the people of the region.

The event was attended by Nathalie Roy, Quebec's Minister of Culture and guest of honor at the festival, who, with heartfelt words, highlighted the contribution of Hispanic and Latin American culture in the province.

The occasion was also an opportunity to present the Medal of Honor of the Quebec General Assembly to Luis Zúñiga, organizer of the evening.

During the party, the Consul General exchanged with the guest minister and took the opportunity to highlight the presence of Cuban culture in Canada. Many colors and traditional dances enlivened the meeting.
