The Cuban Consulate in Toronto celebrated the 97th birthday of our Commander in Chief, Fidel Castro. The activity included heartfelt poems, videos and music, as well as an emotional moment in which phrases and achievements of the Revolution under the guidance of our beloved Fidel were recalled.
We were accompanied by the Consuls General of Angola and South Africa, the Vice Consul of Russia, members of the Juan Gualberto Gómez Association of Cuban Residents and solidarity groups on Cuba: Canadian Network on Cuba, CCFA-Toronto, Toronto Forum on Cuba, as well as comrades of the Communist Party of Canada and the Hugo Chávez Front.
The representatives of the Consulate thanked the attendeesfor all the expressions of esteem offered to our country and especially to our Commander in Chief.
