CHILDREN OF CUBAN DESCENDANTS RESIDENT IN IRELAND CELEBRATE THE 170TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE BIRTH OF JOSE MARTÍ.

Dublin, January 27, 2023. At the beginning of the activity to celebrate the 170th anniversary of the birth of José Martí, at the Cuban Embassy, last night, at the Cuban Embassy,  the Association of Cuban Residents held an exhibition of different children's drawings, born in Ireland, children of resident Cubans.

The Cuban ambassador, Bernardo Guanche Hernández, when speaking, highlighted the participation of children in the day of celebrations for the birth of the Apostle of Cuban independence, José Martí. He specified that these contributions are a sign of his sympathy and affection for Martí's dedication to the little ones, reflected in his book "The Golden Age", when he wrote: "We work for children, because children are the ones who know how to love, because children are the hope of the world. And we want them to love us, and see us as a thing of their hearts." "Without children you cannot live, just as the earth cannot live without light".
