Riyadh, January 22nd - The Cuban Embassy in Saudi Arabia hosted a simple and nice ceremony to make the wedding dream of two young Cuban couples temporarily residing in the Kingdom, where they work as sports coaches, come true.
Both marriages were registered at the Marriage Book of the diplomatic mission’s Consular Office and transcribed to the Special Registry of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Cuba so that they may have full civil effects in our country.
This is the first time this type of ceremony is conducted at the Embassy since it was opened in 2007. Previously, only transcriptions of marriages of Cuban citizens with foreigners, previously formalized by local authorities, had been made.
After the official ceremony, a toast was shared between the young newlyweds and the members of the Embassy, and photos were taken as a memento of the important occasion.
This confirms the total readiness of the Consular Office to provide the services required by the members of the Cuban community in its consular jurisdiction, that includes Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman and Yemen. (EmbaCuba Arabia Saudita)
