The Consulate General of Cuba in Toronto participates in an event aimed at promoting the Visa Program for new entrepreneurs in Canada (Start-Up Visa Program).

Consul Sabdiel Lafargue Moreno represented the Consulate at this event which was sponsored by the company specialized in the promotion of Keiretsu Forum Canada businesses. The moment was propitious to learndetails related to the new visa program implemented by the Canadian authorities, aimed at promoting the development of emerging business sectors in the country.

The visa program is intended to offer facilities for the settlement in Canada of entrepreneurs who seek to open or expand their business in Canada, mainly those related to IT and the new technologies.

This was also an opportunity to explore possible business interests for Cuba.
