In Copenhagen, commemoration of the 30th anniversary of Cuito Cuanavale battle

In commemorating the 30th anniversary of Cuito Cuanavale battle, the activist Ann Langwadt  and Danish friends made an exhibition in Casa Latinoamericana in Copenhagen and paid tribute to the Cuban internationalists. Gorm Gunnarsen, boardmember of the organisation Africa Contact, delivered a speech and highlighted the historical meaning of Cuito Cuanavale battle that was decisive to eliminate the apartheid regime. In the same way the Ambassador of Cuba in Denmark, Yiliam Gómez Sardiñas, made an intervention and thanked their endeavours to carry out this hommage.

Likewise, the Ambassador of South Africa in Denmark, Zindziswa N. Mandela sent a moving message stressing the closed links between Cuba and South Africa. (Embacuba Dinamarca)
