Cuba and India exchanged on multilateral issues

INDIA, April 12sd, 2016.- The Ambassador of Cuba in India, Oscar I. Martínez Cordovés, held a meeting whit the Joint Secretary UNES (Economic and Social Affairs United Nations) Puneet Agrawal, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In the occasion, they examined issues related to the successful and growing cooperation in multilateral affairs that has existed between both countries for 56 years, and other international relations matters.

The Cuban diplomat also explained about the Cuban Economic model, highlighting that there are new battles concerning the lifting of the US blockade.

For its part, the Indian official confirmed the condemnation to the blockade imposed on the Cuban people and the immovable position of India in favor of ending this policy. (CubaMinrex/ Embacuba India)
