Cuba and Mexico ratify their will to continue strengthening ties

Mexico, Oct 17 (Prensa Latina) The governments of Cuba and Mexico today ratified the will to continue developing the political-diplomatic dialogue and to expand economic-commercial, investment and cooperation relations.

This was noted through his Twitter account Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, referring to the results of the 'cordial meeting' between the president of his country, Miguel Diaz-Canel, and his host Andrés Manuel López Obrador

López Obrador welcomed President Díaz - Canel this afternoon at the Courtyard of Honor of the National Palace before holding a private meeting.

Already in his usual morning press conference, the Mexican president had meant that the presence here of his couple on the island is important "because the Cuban people and the Mexican people are brother peoples."

In the case of Cuba, he said, the link is historic, since Mexico has always had a very good relationship with the people and government of Cuba, he remarked.

On the other hand, and shortly after arriving in this city, Díaz-Canel expressed the emotion that means 'to return to the endearing Mexico, so linked to our history and that of all Latin America'.
