Cuba and South Africa engage in strengthening academic exchanges

Johannesburg, October 16, 2024 - The Dean of the Faculty of Humanities at the University of the Witwatersrand, Professor Mucha Musemwa, held a fruitful meeting with officials Bryan Betancourt Brito and Lauren Luis Acosta from the Cuban Embassy in South Africa.

They discussed in detail the possibilities of bilateral cooperation in the academic field and the great potential for exchanges in this area. They also referred to the importance of strengthening the unity among the countries of the Global South to face common challenges such as climate change, poverty, health development, education, science, among others.
