Today we attended the opening of the second edition of "Corozal Grafitti Festival" invited by Debra Wilkes the Coordinator of the Corozal House of Culture and the mastermind of this amazing project in conjunction with the Minister of Health, Honorable Pablo Marín.
This edition has an international dimension with participants artists from México, El Salvador, Cuba and Belize.
There were also present Adela Pederson from "T'oone Masegualo'on and Alexis Salazar, Director of National Museum of Belize.
Very proud that the internationally recognized Cuban art designer, Alex Falco Chang, is participating, representing our nation.
As soon as we arrived to the long explanade by the sea, we found a real celebration full of colours on the walls made by around ten "grafitti" artists, body painting actions, shapes, ancester motives and the linkages between our roots and the modern way to spread the art.
We appreciated the community festivity and the energy that culture transmits to people.
