Palmerston North, May 25. Ambassador Edgardo Valdés and Consul Dalila Vázquez traveled to this city to participate in several events related to Cuba, convened by the Massey University Student Association (MUSA) and the local chapter of the New Zealand Institute of International Affairs. (NZIIA).
After a tour of the facilities, they officially opened an exhibition of photos about Cuba, taken by New Zealand tourists who have visited the island.
The Ambassador gave a live interview on local radio and then made a presentation on Cuba, its relations with New Zealand, and business and investment opportunities, moderated by the president of NZIIA in the city, Dr. Priscila Pilatowsky.
After inaugurating the Annual University Ball, the Cuban officials shared with a group of MUSA executives.
