Helsinki.- During the recent edition of the "Matka 2025" tourism fair, the Cuban representation in Finland had the opportunity to share with promoters of the Cuba destination at this annual event. Passing by the stand of the Finland-Cuba Friendship Association, Ambassador Beatriz Parra learned about the different opportunities that they generate to attract the attention of the Finnish public to the Caribbean island, many of them associated with historical-cultural and solidarity projects.
During this visit, the Caribbean representative also coincided with members of the community of Cuban residents who came to the spaces in Cuba and others who work in the promotion of the Island's tourism products, with whom she had the opportunity to share.
The event - in which Eddy Santos, Tourism advisor for the Nordic market based in Sweden, also participated - also allowed the Embassy to approach agencies, specialized journalists and tour operators that promote Cuba as a destination from Finland.
