Ulaanbaatar. June 17, 2017.- Organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia in coordination with Golomt Bank, the "2017 Friendly Football Tournament” was held in Gorkhi-Terelj National Park between diplomatic missions accredited in Ulaanbaatar and a Team of the MFA-Mongolia.
In one of the tourist facilities of this national park of Gorkhi-Terelj, the 13 teams made up of diplomats and workers from the accredited embassies and the Foreign Ministry clashed with each other for the trophy of the tournament that symbolizes the friendship between the participants. Cuban Ambassador Raúl Delgado Concepción competed in a joint Cuba-India team.
The opening words of the event were the responsibility of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia. Mrs Batmunkh Battsetseg, who emphasized that spaces like this contribute to reinforcing the bonds of friendship and cooperation in all areas between the participants. (EmbaCuba Mongolia)
