Cuba participates in the inauguration of the International Day of La Francophonie.

Victoria, 20th of March. The French nation, with a strong presence in the culture and Creole, mother tongue of the Seychellois nation, was highlighted at the opening of the International Francophonie Week. 
On the occasion, Tomas Mendez, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Cuban Embassy in Seychelles, exchanged with the Ambassador of France, H.E. Mme. Olivia Berkeley-Christmann, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Tourism of Seychelles, H.E. Mr. Sylvestre Radegonde and with Mr. David André, Secretary General of the National Institute for Culture, Heritage and Arts of Seychelles, with whom was reaffirmed the interest in developing cultural cooperation, an area in which there are strong potentials.
