Cuba participates in the Sixth General Assembly of the Global Public Diplomacy Network

Doha, January 21. - The Sixth General Assembly of the Global Public Diplomacy Network, organized by Katara Village Foundation, was inaugurated on Monday by Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Sulaiti, General Director of the Katara Foundation and President of the RGDP, with the presence of the Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Dr. Ahmed bin Hassen Al-Hammadi, who also used the floor. Cuba is represented by Dr. Santiago Pérez, Deputy Director of the Center for International Policy Research (CIPI) who will make a presentation of the activities of said center, invited to be part of this organization. Cuba's presence in this organization must contribute significantly to Qatar's efforts to strengthen the GDP Network, given the experience of the Caribbean Island in all those activities that could be considered as public diplomacy, namely, education, culture, sport, health, among others. The Assembly, which ends tomorrow January 22, is attended by numerous guests from various countries, researchers, representatives of Institutes and Universities and other specialists.
