Cuba participates in the Youth Forum of United Nations Economic and Social Council.

New York, April 16, 2024.- Cuba participates in the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) Youth Forum which takes place at the headquarters of this multilateral organization in this city.

The Cuban delegation is composed by Mirthia Brossard, head of the International Relations Department of the National Committee of the Young Communists League, and Keyla Estévez, director of the Center for Youth Studies.

The Forum provides a global platform for dialogue among Member States and young leaders from around the world on solutions to challenges affecting youth wellbeing. It also serves as a unique space for young people to share their vision and actions as well as provide an opportunity to advance youth solutions to accelerate  the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals.
