Cuba present at the Conference on cancer vaccines in the Netherlands

Amsterdam, September 4, 2024. Professor, Dr. Mónica Bequet Romero, from the Center for Genetics and Biotechnology (CIGB), presented the experiences of Cuba at the II Conference on vaccines and immunological treatments against cancer, held in the capital of the Netherlands.

The organizers, professors from the University of Amsterdam, invited the Cuban scientist to give a presentation on Cuban studies and the development of the HEBERSa Vax vaccine, for the treatment of various types of cancer.

The Conference was attended by students and professors from various universities in Europe and speakers from Germany, the Netherlands, the United States, Denmark, Switzerland and Cuba.
