Dublin, September 2018. The headquarters of the Cervantes Institute in Dublin hosted the 2018 edition of the Latin Party of Dublin, a joint effort of the Institute and accredited Hispano-American diplomatic representations, to disseminate aspects of our cultures to the Irish public. The event is also a meeting point for the communities of Latin Americans and Spaniards living in Ireland.
The Cuban Embassy had its own stand in which our culinary and cocktails were present, with special highlight for the “Mojito”, very well received among the attendees, with the enthusiastic participation of Cubans who work in the diplomatic mission and Cuban residents in Dublin.
The Cuban space was decorated with posters promoting the Cuban tourist industry and our culture. Not a few attendees came to our tables to collect and carry a copy of the printed materials that were available to the public.
This activity marked the beginning of the celebrations for the Cuban Culture Day to be held on October 20.
