Vienna, September 28. Cuba and its culture were represented at the Long Night of Interculturality that takes place every year at the Vienna City Hall.
In the main hall of the Rathaus, the World Costume Gala took place and among other 33 national costumes, the participants were able to learn and visualize the use of the Cuban guayabera and the yarey hat as representative pieces of our cultural tradition.
Participants, including the diplomatic corps accredited in Austria, also enjoyed samples of Cuban cocktails and received informative materials pertaining to the #CubaUnica campaign.
With the participation in the Long Night of Interculturality, the program of the Cuban Embassy in Austria to celebrate the Day of Cuban Culture, which is celebrated every year on October 20, begins.
