On November 25, Cuba's Ambassador to India, Alejandro Simancas Marin, held an exchange with the students and the main authorities of the Kristu Jayanti College in the city of Bangalore, capital of the state of Karnataka, in the south of the country.
More than a hundred students attended the meeting and were able to learn first hand about the bilateral ties, established on January 12, 1960 and based on the feelings of respect, friendship and collaboration, according to the Cuban diplomat. Likewise, the Cuban diplomat highlighted the contribution made to these relations by the historical leaders of both countries, especially Fidel Castro, to whom the Ambassador dedicated a special remembrance on the occasion of the sixth anniversary of his death.
