Cuba reiterates its gratitude to the Secretary General of the Ugandan National Resistance Movement.

Kigali. On August 11, the member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, José Ángel Portal Miranda, greeted the Secretary General of the Ugandan National Resistance Movement, Honourable Richard Todwong.

The opportunity was propitious to thank the Ugandan political leader for having led the delegation of that African nation to the VII Continental Conference of Solidarity with Cuba held last January in South Africa.

Both the Cuban Communist Party and the Ugandan National Resistance Movement were invited by the Rwandan ruling party to participate in the Presidential Inauguration Ceremony of President Paul Kagame.
