Monrovia, 9 de diciembre, 2023.- Throughout the centuries, Cubans have known how to express themselves through many forms. Some move their bodies and form true choreographies that became son, guaracha, chachachá, bolero, rumba....
Others have written about how the world around them shapes their intelligence, their belief, their hope, their belonging and even their dreams.
While some theoreticians of the plastic arts try to explain what can only dwell in the mind of a painter, Cubans also express their feelings and their heartbeat in true manifestations of creativity and authenticity.
Cuban painter Damaris Carvajal left us inspirations far from Cuba physically, but close, Cuban, and dear to the heart of the staff of the Cuban Embassy in Liberia, when she exhibited her paintings in an exhibition where a selection of contemporary and modern art from Liberia, Cuba, and Gabon was displayed.
The representative of Cuban art painted the expression of our Island, in an imaginary and diverse picture for this gallery called MUNDO.
