The businessmen of Gujranwala city have a renewed interest in identifying sectors to develop concrete projects with their Cuban counterparts in sectors like agriculture, metallurgy and industrial development, said Mr. Ahmad Lone, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry while paying a working visit to the Cuban Embassy in this capital.
While exchanging with the Cuban ambassador, the businessman and his delegation expressed their willingness to organize a visit of officials of the diplomatic mission to his city to interact with local businessmen, visit manufacturing centers and participate in the "Made in Gujranwala" Fair.At the same time, they showed interest in participating in the II Cuba 2021 Business Forum to be held virtually from November 29.
The Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry represents more than 21 thousand entrepreneurs of that city, which together with Sialkot and Gujrat forms the so-called Golden Triangle of the province of Punjab, in reference to its industrial development and export capacity.
