Cuban Ambassador and Prime Minister of Jamaica advocate strengthening bilateral cooperation

Kingston, Jamaica, 25 May 2022. On the morning of this Wednesday, the Cuban Ambassador Fermín Quiñones paid a courtesy visit to the Right Honorable Andrew Holness, Prime Minister of Jamaica.
Both parties agreed on the historical nature of the relationship between Jamaica and Cuba, and on the importance of deepening and strengthening cooperation and exchange between the two Caribbean islands.
The 50 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries that will be celebrated this December have been marked by mutual respect and close ties of collaboration, especially in the areas of health and education.
