Accra, August 22nd, 2023 - Talking about the history of relations between Ghana and Cuba fills one with joy, especially if it contains wonderful moments such as the meetings between men of great caliber such as Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz and Flight Lieutenant Jerry John Rawlings.
This morning, the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Ghana, Anette Chao García, received two of the daughters of the former Ghanaian President and exchanged with them on the history of the two countries, especially on the greatest outcome of that period: the first young people who studied on the island. They also discussed future events.
The Cuban official updated them on the battles waged by Cuba in relation to the Economic, Commercial and Financial Blockade imposed by the United States of America, as well as the struggle to have Cuba removed from the spurious State Sponsor of Terrorism list, a great slander to which the government and the people of the largest of the Antilles are subjected to.
