CUBAN AMBASSADOR HAS CONVERSATIONS IN GEORGIAN PARLIAMENT

The Ambassador of Cuba in Georgia, Alfredo Nieves Portuondo, held a meeting with the deputy Guguli Magradze, vice president of the Committee on Education, Science and Culture of the Chamber and president of the Georgian Friendship with Cuba Group.
The parliamentarian referred to the historic friendship relations between Georgia and Cuba and called for developing them in different fields, particularly in the parliamentary aspect.
For his part, the ambassador gave an overview of the state of relations between the two countries and took the opportunity to thank the support of Georgia in the resolution presented by the island in the UN condemning the blockade of the US government against Cuba.
