Cuban ambassador holds meeting with Ethiopian Finance Minister

Addis Ababa, May 21, 2024. The Cuban ambassador to Ethiopia, Jorge Lefebre Nicolás, held a meeting with the Minister of Finance of Ethiopia, Mr. Ahmed Shide, in which they exchanged issues of interest on the bilateral agenda.  

The Cuban diplomat thanked the exchange held with the Ethiopian minister on issues of common interest for the establishment of cooperation in different sectors between the Caribbean country and its African brother.

For his part, the Minister of Finance, Mr. Ahmed Shide, thanked the visit and highlighted the long historical relationship shared by Ethiopia and Cuba and the recognition and affection expressed by the Ethiopian people towards Cuba.
