Namibia, October 31st, 2018 - As part of the farewell meetings to mark the end of his mission in Namibia, the ambassador of Cuba, Giraldo Mazola, was received by the vice president of this African country, Nangolo Mbubma.
During the fraternal meeting, both reviewed the excellent state of the bilateral relations of brotherhood between Cuba and Namibia.
The Ambassador also updated the Namibian leader on the situation in Latin America, the upcoming visits of President Diaz-Canel in several countries and the vote against the blockade in the UN.
The Vice President of Namibia highlighted the work of Ambassador Mazola in favor of strengthening relations between both countries. I wished him luck in his new tasks and expressed his regret for the departure of the Cuban diplomat.
The Ambassador for his part thanked the warm words of Vice President Mbumba and his permanent availability to support Cuba.
Likewise, both exchanged about their experiences during the difficult times of the struggle for the liberation of Namibia, as well as other issues on the international agenda.
