Cuban Ambassador meets with the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps of the Latin American Group in the Commonwealth of Australia

Canberra, April 6, 2023. This morning, the Cuban Ambassador to the Commonwealth of Australia met with the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps of the Latin American Group in this capital, H.E Mr. Eduardo Peña Haller, Ambassador of the United Mexican States to Australia.

During the meeting, the diplomats addressed the excellent state of bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as the close historical ties that unite both peoples. They also referred to the work plans to promote the culture of Latin American countries in Australia.

The Cuban diplomat thanked on behalf of the Cuban people and government for Mexico's firm position against the blockade against Cuba.
