Cuban Ambassador meets with Indian Member of Parliament Shashi Tharoor.

Dr. Shashi Tharoor, member of the Lok Sabha of the Indian Parliament received the Ambassador of Cuba, Alejandro Simancas, Marin, during their stay in the state of Kerala. 

Dr. Shashi Tharoor represents this southern Indian state in the legislature on behalf of the National Congress Party and chairs the Parliamentary Committee on Fertilizers and Commodities. 

In the cordial meeting, both highlighted the role of parliamentary relations in the development of ties between the two countries and emphasized the historical ties of dialogue, exchange and friendship, which we have shared. Tharoor also recalled his visits to Cuba and his meeting with the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro.
