The Minister of Defense of Namibia, Hon. Penda Ya Ndakolo, received at the headquarters of that institution the ambassador of Cuba Giraldo Mazola, propitious occasion to exchange assessments on the historical and current relations between his agency and the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba.
Minister Penda remembered with pleasure his recent visit to Cuba and his meetings on the island with the Cuban military leaders, which contributed to the strengthening of historical ties.
The ambassador updated the Namibian leader on the support tasks of the Cuban Armed Forces in the unfortunate plane crash in the capital as well as in the rescue tasks carried out in the areas flooded by the torrential rains in the center and west of the country.
The meeting also addressed the situation in the African continent and in Latin America.
