The celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Laos and Cuba, led to the visit of the Cuban ambassador Enna Viant to the province of Houaphanh, where she offered a conference on this important topic, which ranged from the transcendent fact of the Cuban Revolution, Cuba's relations with Asia and Latin America, the heroic resistance of Laos to achieve its independence and the historical, friendly and supportive cooperation sustained between both brother peoples.
The Cuban diplomat expressed gratitude to the Party, local government, the Friendship Association, the Foreign Ministry and friends of Laos for the tenacious and sustained position of support for Cuba against the unjust blockade of the United States against Cuba as well as for the organization of the visit. , which provided beautiful and heartfelt moments, preceded by the meeting with the Secretary of the LPRP Provincial Committee and Governor, Khampheng Xaysompheng, highest authority of the northern province.
