Basseterre, April 13, 2022: This Tuesday night the fortnightly television program hosted by the Prime Minister of Saint Kitts and Nevis Timothy Harris, Leadership Matters, was dedicated to highlighting the life´s work of the recently late Honorable Vance Amory. The Ambassador of Cuba, David Rivero Pérez participated as a guest in this tribute.
During his speech on the national television channel ZIZ, Rivero made reference to the work carried out by Amory at the service of his country in various capacities, highlighting his work as Premier of the island of Nevis. Likewise, he highlighted his friendly relationship with Cuba, cataloged in this way by Cuban Ambassadors who had the pleasure of meeting him and sharing with him, in the last two decades.
The Honorable Ambassador Vance Amory will be remembered by the Revolutionary Diplomacy as a good friend of his country. In each of the international forum that he participated representing his government, he always made clear his position in defense of the Antillean island. The Cuban Foreign Minister, through his official Twitter account and through a letter sent to his counterpart in Basseterre, expressed his sorrow and extended his heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, people and the government of Saint Kitts and Nevis.
