Belmopan, September 21, 2024.- Presided over by Governor General Dame Froyla Tzalam and Prime Minister John Briceño, on the grounds where the National Assembly is located, adorned with national flags, the state ceremony for the 43rd anniversary of Belize's independence from British colonialism, proclaimed on September 21, 1981, was held.
During their speeches, the speakers highlighted the figure and legacy of George Price, Father of the Nation, who with his dedication, dedication and perseverance, led the independence process of this sister nation.
Music and song were present as a sample of the heritage of the people, demonstrating the varied cultural diversity existing in the country, of which the Belizean people are proud.
