Cuban ambassador participates in Military Parade for the 60th Anniversary of Nigerian Independence

Abuja, October 1, 2020. The Cuban Ambassador to Nigeria, Clara Pulido Escandell, participated on the morning of October 1 in the Military Parade for the 60th Anniversary of Nigerian Independence.

In a solemn act, the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, addressed the people highlighting elements of the current events in the country and formulating the future strategy of his government.

Regarding this important date, the President of the Republic of Cuba, Miguel Díaz Canel and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, sent messages of congratulations to their Nigerian counterparts and extended their congratulations to the people of this sister nation.
