The Ambassador of Cuba, Vilma Reyes Valdespino received, at her headquarters, Archbishop Fortunatus Nwachukwu, Apostolic Nuncio to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, with residence in Trinidad and Tobago.

His Excellency, Mr. Nwachukwu, attended the Cuban Mission in the company of Vincentian Bishop Gerard County and Reverend Mike Steward.

The parties had an interesting and lively exchange on various topics including bilateral relations between Cuba and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, the links of cooperation in different spheres, the application of the Heberprot-P in this Eastern Caribbean State.

The parties addressed the issue of the US blockade against Cuba and the ravages of that truss of unilateral coercive measures on the lives of the Cuban population and on the interests of third countries and companies eager to develop cooperation and trade with Cuba.

The experiences of Archbishop Fortunatus Nwachukwu in Nicaragua and these of the Bishop Gerard County in Mexico, enriched the fraternal conversation.
