Cuban Ambassador receives Saint Lucian parliamentary leader.

The Cuban Ambassador in Saint Lucia, Jorge Soberon, received on October 4, 2017, at the diplomatic mission, the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, the Honorable Leonne Theodore-John. During the meeting, the friendly relationship between the two countries and the support of the Saint Lucian House of Assembly for the development of cooperation were confirmed, particularly in the areas of health and education. Likewise, the efforts of the region to overcome the negative consequences of the recent meteorological events, and the progress made in the organization of the visit of the parliamentary delegation of Saint Lucia to Cuba, were recognized.
