Cuban Ambassador to South Africa is received by DIRCO´s Director for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean

Pretoria, August 6, 2024 - The Cuban Ambassador to South Africa, Enrique Orta González, was received by the Director for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean of the South African Department of International Relations and Cooperation, Mr. Bingo Thamaga, in order to carry out a periodic review of the main issues of bilateral interest.

During the cordial meeting, the excellent level of political relations was noted, as well as the need to continue to expand and diversify cooperation in economic and trade matters. Both sides acknowledged the quality of bilateral ties, which have resulted in 30 years of fruitful relations between the two governments.
