Cuban Ambassador visited the Press Club of India.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Alejandro Simancas Marin, visited the headquarters of the Press Club of India, which brings together about four thousand journalists and associate members related to the media and communication. The Cuban diplomat had a cordial exchange with the president of the Club, Umakant Lakhera, and several journalists, where the historical ties of friendship that unite both peoples were highlighted.

The Ambassador also gave an update on the advances achieved by our country in the fight against COVID-19 and the progress made in the vaccination campaign for the entire population, in spite of the tightening of the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States government against Cuba.
