ZIMBABWE, March 21, 2017. Cuban Ambassador Elio Savón Oliva paid a visit to Cuban doctors who work in the Chinhoyi Provincial Hospital in the Mashonaland region in the north central part of the country.
He was accompanied by the coordinator of the Cuban Medical Brigade in Zimbabwe, Dr. Rolando Sánchez Martínez, and held an exchange with the management of the Hospital in which the living and working conditions of the collaborators were discussed.
During the meeting with the hospital authorities they emphasized the important role Cuban doctors play in promoting and preserving the health of the Zimbabwean people and thanked Cuba for maintaining this cooperation.
